Just read an article about her in January’s Runner’s World, the first woman to win an olympic marathon. This is the kind of stuff that really inspires me in my running. She was also the keynote speaker at the pasta dinner the night before the Space Coast Marathon. Most elite runners seem to be exactly the kind of people I like and I want to be. I miss having running friends close by.
