I ran only 7 miles in the morning, had breakfast and slowly started doing the laundry and packing. My parents and me left town after lunch, me driving the BMW and they in their rental car.
We dropped off the car in Orlando and kept going towards Brooksville. Although we hit many traffic lights in Clermont on SR50 it was a pleasant, calm drive and I slept in the passenger seat.
We spent the afternoon at the pool with the race registration conveniently located right there. For dinner we went to Dennys and drank a beer, purchased at a gas station nearby, in the room before we went to bed very early.
I talked to Jon on the phone several times. He’ll be joining us in Savannah on Monday. I can’t wait to see him again!
