It started to rain hard during my tempo run this morning so I thought it might be a good idea to work at home today before my 1 o’clock meeting with Carole and 4:30pm presentation in Indian Harbor Beach. Just when I wanted to start working though, I got a phone call that my appointment was canceled, or let’s rather say delayed.
So I took the day off entirely and went to Kissimmee with my parents for a nice day trip. We first went to the Main Gate Flea Market because it’s all indoors. So we saw a lot of very cheap and crappy merchandise. It was very interesting to say it politely.
The rain had already stopped on the way there – it’s an hour’s drive inland – so I figured we might as well go see the neat little shops and bars at Old Town. That was a good idea and we had fun strolling down the pedestrian zone, browsing, shopping, and eating ice-cream. Meanwhile the sun had come out but it wasn’t too hot. A really nice, beautiful day.
On the way back home we stopped twice to get food for people and horses and after dinner I went to ride Brownie.
Stephanie was there, too so we rode together. It was really nice and she helped me a lot playing cow for Brownie and me and giving advice on my riding.
What a great day, even though my nose was running all the time!
