A day full of nature, fresh air, and exercise.
It cooled down significantly so it actually felt like fall – not winter, but who wants winter?
It was just perfect, sunny and temperatures in the forties, for a long trail run and as I don’t really want to die in the 50k on the Dec 30, I better put in just a little bit of training.
Both facts and being short before christmas I didn’t work today but drove to the Tosohatchee Wildlife Management Area and ran 18.6 miles. I took my time, stopped often, took many pictures and enjoyed life.
After chilling out on the tailgate of my truck, recovering from the run and some Walmart shopping I went to the barn and took my Appaloosa Brownie out for a nice trail ride.
When I came home I made dinner with Jon’s help again, worked on my running log and installed my new bike computer. Of course, I had to go for a short ride to try out if it worked which it does just fine.
Now I’m tired!

See more progress on: take one photograph each day as a way to document my life.
