Quality Workout

Five to six miles of quality, that's what Brownie's plan said today. The quality to be determined by the horse owner.
It just seemed to be his day or his time of the day, early evening when the weather is cooling off a little but the air was still warm and smooth. After walking to the end of the driveway with Gwen on Endre she headed back to the barn and Brownie started of fast. He really seemed to enjoy running today.
We went to my "track" in the jungle, a quarter mile loop not very well known, but very convenient for speed work with the horse.
I calculated the distance wrong, so I thought we could only do three laps loping with three laps of alternate jogging.
When I finally figured out my mistake we were already gone too far away, so I just added my normal jungle trail. Next week we'll do at least 4 or 5 laps of loping!
The rest of the ride was still pretty quick and fun for both of us.
What a wonderful "summer" evening! Gotta love Florida - and Brownie, of course!
