It’s a long weekend for Jon who has the day after Thanksgiving off. To take least a small advantage of the best shopping deals of the year we went to Melbourne to buy new running shoes. We had to go to many different stores before we found Jon’s preferred shoes.
When we finally got that done we kept driving south to Palm Bay to check out the Turkey Creek Sanctuary, a small nature park with a boardwalk where we had a picnic and took a little hike on the boardwalk. We saw many animals: turtles, squirrels, and even a woodpecker at work.
Later in the afternoon we went to the barn and I borrowed Bita from Stephanie so we could go on a trail ride together. Both horses were very nice and well behaved and we a lot of fun jogging them through the jungle.
