We left Chatham in the morning to go to Boston and see the women’s olympic marathon trials. Unfortunately it took us forever to get to the finish line, so we got separated and I could only see the finishers slower than 2:45.
We went back to the expo for a bit, had lunch on Boylston Street and went to our hotel on Hanscom Air Force Base.
After a short slow run and relaxing in the room we drove to the train station Alewife and took the train into Boston where we attended the pre-race dinner.
Back in the hotel I set everything for the big race and went to bed early to get enough rest.
