Brownie’s and my first show together!
I did my tempo run in the morning, having my parents help me with the water and playing aid station for me.
The show was supposed to start at noon, registration at eleven so I left the house short after ten to drive to the barn, meet with Stephanie and load up tack and horses.
We made it in time because the arena is very close to the barn, just a five minute drive.
We registered for a couple of events and our horses did really well. I did Barrel Race, Pole Bending, Key Hole – I fell off because I didn’t wait for Brownie to turn around all the way -, Hair Pin, and Flag Race. I got placed in all classes except Barrels und I was so happy with little Brownie.
Stephanie had brought 3 horses and rode even more classes. In the end she won the High Point, so it was a fun and successful day for both of us.
In the end we got wet in a pouring rain when we unloaded the horses back at the barn.
