A short run in the morning, breakfast at the hotel and we were off to the south. Stopping in Naples was kind of a challenge because of heavy traffic and confusing street signs. When we finally managed to find the downtown area we were all stressed out, but lunch at a nice cafe made everything better and we could continue our trip to Everglades City where we checked into a nice big hotel room and went on a boat tour.
Later we drove to a short boardwalk trail and saw alligators and tropical jungle with mangroves and a pond Tarzan could have climbed out right there. The two alligators we spotted were only babies though.
The sunset over the Tenthousand Islands was quite spectacular, even though there were a bit too many clouds.
