Post Vacation Blues

Going back to my normal day-to-day life hit me hard today after the great christmas vacation. It was one of these days when you just run and drive around and before you even know it the day is over, you have no idea where it went and you hardly got anything done.
I got up later than normal, ran for a little over an hour while listening to some podcasts on my iPod. Although riding the bike was much fun I really am a runner more than anything else, so I really enjoyed my run.
I spent to much time on the internet after that and left the house around eleven. Working wasn’t really going to be successful with people’s minds still on the holidays and many places being closed, so I rather went up to Merritt Island after a while to get myself a new camera.
When I came home I fixed my bike that had a flat tire and rode to the barn for some poop shoveling and trail riding. Brownie was somewhat slow and I had to push him to get him going. I wasn’t very motivated either, so I didn’t ride to long.
Back home Jon and I made and ate dinner.
I’m tired and not in a very good mood. This week is so weird and everything is kind of unstructured. I can’t wait to get back to marathon training which is going to start on New Year’s Eve. Until then I guess I just keep on running.
